Department Of Islamic Law
The Department is blessed with seasoned professionals and experts who have broken ground in diverse research fields and have also excelled both in education, practice, mentoring, and community service. From inception in ……………, the department had been chaired and headed by Mr. Y. K. Saadu (2007-2008), Prof. A. Zubair (2006-2008, 2010-2012), Prof. A. O. Omotosho (2008-2010), Prof. I.S. Ismael (2013-2016), Prof. I.A. Abdulqadir (2017-2018), Prof. A.A. Alaro mni (2019-2021), Dr. A.A. Owoade (2021-2023) and Prof. Azizat O. Amoloye-Adebayo (2023 till date). The department have 11 academic and 3 non-academic staff. The academic staff are experts and professionals in Islamic Law. They include 4 Professors, 5 Associate Professors and 2 with LLM degrees respectively. The staff Profile includes:
