Dr. Ahmed Hussein Folorunsho

Dr. A.H. Folorunsho is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Islamic Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He’s the Deputy Head of Chambers in the Law firm of Y.K. Saadu & Co. in Ilorin where he acquired experience in general law practice. He later joined the Department of Islamic Law and has taught different courses and published articles in reputable journals. He did LL.M and Ph.D at the International Islamic University, Malaysia (IIUM) in the year, 2010 and 2016 respectively. He is currently the Chairman of the Muslim Lawyers’Association of Nigeria, Kwara State Chapter, and also a Member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA): Member of the Nigerian Association of Law Teachers (NALT), and the Nigerian Association of Islamic Law Teachers (NAILT). His main area of research is Human Rights Law in Islam, the Right to Education, and Islamic Law generally.
