Biography

Dr. Owoade Abdul-Lateef Adekunle is an Associate Professor of Islamic International Law, a Legal Practitioner, a Barrister, and a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, with Teaching, Research, and Consulting Experience in the Areas of Law of Corporate Management, Islamic Personal law, Islamic Constitutional Law, Treatment of Minority under the Shariah, Human Rights under the Islamic Law and Islamic International Law. His area of Research is International Humanitarian and Islamic International Laws. He has to his credit about forty (40) Publications in Local, National, and International Referred Journals and Books. He has supervised several undergraduate and Master’s students and still supervising about 10 (ten) students at various levels, namely; undergraduate, master as well and Ph.D candidates. He is currently the Head of Department, Department of Islamic Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He is happily married with children.
