Olohungbebe Mamudat Ifeoluwa obtained her LLB degree in Common and Islamic Law from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria after which she obtained her BL to become a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. Mamudat later pursued an LLM degree at the University of Ilorin which was completed in 2021. She currently serves as a lecturer at the Department of Islamic Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. With extensive experience as a litigation lawyer, Mamudat has a keen interest in research on contemporary areas of law and has focused on areas such as Sharī‘ah and International Human Rights Law, Human Rights violations, Islamic Family Law, and Issues in Law and Religion among others. Mamudat is particularly enthusiastic about the legal protection and rights of children with disabilities which was her focus area during her LLM.
