Prof. Ismael Saka Ismael

Ismael Saka ISMAEL is a Professor in the Department of Islamic Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin. He was a former HoD of the Department and has served at various departmental, Faculty, and university committees and board representatives and currently the Managing Editor of the Department’s Journal. His research interest is in the area of Islamic Law of Inheritance, Bequest, and Endowment. He has published in reputable local, national, and international journals. He has supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate students in various areas of Islamic Law. Prof. Ismael is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria, and he is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
